A TIMELINE OF OUR BIRTHDAYS PUT TOGETHER

Boom, boom!! To the sounds of the cracking balloons. Bash and another bash to those birthday bumps. One day, a day of surprises and just bliss is none other than our birthday! Beautiful frocks , a crown resembling our age, lots of people at home - oh WOW! What a pleasant day it is!! Reading just this has brought a smile to our face, isn't it ? Be it a girl or a boy, birthdays have equally been fascinating, surprising and loved. Since the time of birth till our death bed, those birthday celebrations haslve their point. Though evolved our celebrations over our age timeline, our day is always SPECIAL.
A TINY TOT, A BIGGER BRAIN

Remember those nights a week or a month before our birthdays? Those were the high excitement days when we were on our heels. A tiny pink frock, a little white socks and we used to get ready for our birthdays. But not all this existed until we grew up. As our age kept fluttering higher and higherz what became more awaiting, is the day we walk in with our civil dresses amongst the unfirm wearers to our school campus. What a day it is, isn't it? All the attention on that beautiful girl who wore her dress in colour and walked around with special chocolates for each one. Remember those tiny tot mindsets where small chocolates were meant for our enemies, slightly bigger for JUST friends, biggest for our clossy ones. Special chocolates would be for our teachers who blessed us each and every day. That's the day we made our enemies falll for us. HAHA, LITTLE US!!

WE WERE OLDER EACH BIRTHDAY!

As then we grew up, small birthday parties with a fee friends slightly expanded. We now had lots of members at home with tasty yummy cakes and lots of chocolates. One beautiful dress for the school, one for the evening party. Wow, we lived our life!! All this dint last for long, "YOU ARE BIG NOW!", a dialogue that momma's killed us with. Now birthday parties were just in our dreams. For many, it never happened. But, chocolates always had their priorities. Maybe like this, 5 STAR and MUNCH for our teachers, and little Cadbury for our fellow mates. Once this age of a little child came to a halt, special yummy dishes of our mothers took hand. All we used to wait for is that moment of graze at the filled vessels at home to discover what was made unique for us on our day. From kesari to fulab jamuns, from Biryani's to butter masala, all were handy because we were the heros for the day. Life had a yummy twist since then.

SOMETIMES THEY ARE YOUR PARENT'S FAVOURITES!

What comes to someone's help is a sibiling. Blessed are those to have a subling, a brother or a sister, whoever may it be. They know us more than we do ourselves. They know our expectations and everything, but have they bowed before us? NEVER. Ego-minded little or elder fellows, we can't do anything about it, when they couldn't be our parents favourite child. GOD HELP THEM OUT! But, hwta comes handy, are the little surprises they have for us. From a tiny greeting card to a big gift with their savings were anything more special than those branded products from our friends, isn't? I once remember my friend telling me about her brother's savings to purchase her a gift for her birthday z how special would that feeling have been right? Well, surprises are just surprises from others, but from our siblings, they are more than just special. Love and tears amidst the air it would be. Memorable and never dying are those moments and gifts.
LITTLE BY LITTLE, OLDER AND OLDER

Like a line that has not stop, growth never had a halt. We reached our high schools and parties and chocolates were never even a thought. All we had is wishes, everyone's presence that mattered the most. Our mindsets slightly changed. Our world had shrunken. We dint want any pleasure or gifts, all we wanted is everyone live presence and a handshake wishing us on our day. MATURITY struck us hard. Though our little tiny heart kept asking for surprises and gifts, our mind kept us reminded of our age, pressures and life moved on. We crossed our school times, we were now adults - That's what they said! Then, our only wish, our only happiness was that dress. That dress that looked beautiful on us alone. That dress that drive everyone's attention towards us. We looked around stalls, we looked around centres, online offline, everything to select ours. And finally we were ready for our very own day.

MATURITY AT ITS PEAK

But, that's when we step into our college. A new world, lots of new faces, lots of new experience. Confused were we on how to reveal our birthday with our own very mouth. Noone likes to remind others about their birthdays isn't? But, what if your birthday falls in the very beginning of your college life. Hesitation amidst the air, we only tell our roommates, and that's our fate! No other go!! But, later on, in the following years we have a SQUAD - a bunch of members with the same mental disorder as ours - who never failed to being the best of us. We now have gifts from them, small parties from them and the best part is, we will have to empty our wallet at a faster rate for THEM. Those midnight wishes and gift wrappers in the air were all our mind-filled cherishes for the rest of the lifetime.
NOT A QUARANTINE WITH THE BEST OF FRIENDS EVER!

Now that it is quarantine, what more can we expect? Everyone is in their hometown, everyone is at the peak of fear. But our squad won't let us down, amusements still in the way. Lots of video wishes, lots of calls and those special couriers with already PAYED ones - very important!! HAHA! Birthdays are a day of joys, a day to celebrate, however may it be. From happy birthday text messages, to live door messages, from our favourite toy giftsz to our special momma's dinner, birthdays have always had their go in our lives. Live for our next birthday, not just ours, but also for others.
