INDIA's JAMES BOND

James Bond is a character that nobody could hate!He is an excellent spy and investigates into various cases to solve them.

Such a character can indeed be found in India- National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, who is known as James Bond of India.  Ethnic riots broke out in Thalassery in 1971. A young IPS officer was sent to suppress this.  The officer was sent by the then Kerala Chief Minister Karunakaran of the Congress.  With his strenuous work at Thalassery, he suppressed the riot in one week and brought peace to both communities.

Doval, who excelled in state service, joined the federal government in the 1970s. He served for more than 10 years as head of the so-called 'Operation' unit of the Central Intelligence Agency.

Terrorists from the Mizo National Front in Mizoram were involved in the struggle for a separate state in the late 1980s.  Ajit Doval was then sent to Mizoram on behalf of the Central Government.  Six close commanders of Laldenga, the leader of the Mizo National Front, turned against him.  He also infiltrated into the Mizo National Army and served on the Myanmar and the Chinese border, informing the Home Ministry of terrorist activities.

After making peace in Mizoram, Doval went to Sikkim and played a key role in annexing the state to India.  MK Narayanan was the country's third national security adviser.  Narayanan is Doval's guru. Under his supervision, Doval received training in counter-terrorism operations.  He also served for some time as head of the business division at the Pakistan Embassy.  He monitored Sikh pilgrims and Khalistan terrorists coming to Pakistan as there was no major mission involved. He also learned about Pakistan's assistance to Khalistan terrorists.  Doval, who had returned from Pakistan, was sent to Punjab to control terrorism.

He played a key role in the 'Operation Black Thunder' operation at the Amritsar Golden Temple in 1988.  Doval at the time was sent to Kashmir then.  Leading terrorist Kuka Parray changed his mind and persuaded him and his supporters to engage in counter-terrorism operations.  That is why assembly elections were held in 1996 in Jammu and Kashmir.

Doval's activities were not supported by many of his superiors.  But they were delighted with the success of his actions and praised his talent.  In the central government, when there was the rule of  the Manmohan Singh-led Congress,.  Doval was appointed as the director of the intelligence service in 2004 when the coalition was in power.  He retired in 2009. After retirement, he became the Chairman of the Vivekananda Foundation, which was started on behalf of the Vivekananda Kendra.  This system is a system for discussing and solving people's problems.  Anna Hazare's fight against corruption was the backdrop to which Ajit Doval was active.

In mid-2014, the BJP-led coalition government headed by Prime Minister Modi took office.  Modi had high hopes for those at the Vivekananda Foundation.  Nripendra Misra,, who served as Modi's Principal Secretary, is from the Vivekananda Foundation.  Doval’s talent and flawless performance earned him the office of the National Security Advisor.  Doval's activities are responsible for the safe rescue of 46 Kerala nurses who were captured by IS terrorists in 2014 in the western country of Iraq.  Military action was taken against members of the National Nagaland Socialist Council, a separatist organization operating on the Myanmar border in 2015.  More than a dozen separatists were killed.  The move was made on the advice of Doval.

After the Bangladesh war, the Indian government took action only domestically against the terrorist activities of Pakistan.  Pakistan was only condemned.  It was Doval who changed the course of action.  Needless to say, Doval was responsible for India's first 'surgical strike' in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir in 2016.  Doval was instrumental in finding a social solution to the dispute over the Doklam border with China with the then Foreign Secretary Jaishankar. On February 14 last year, terrorists carried out a suicide attack on Central Reserve Police Force troops in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir.  In the incident, 40 soldiers were martyred.  In retaliation for this attack, a second 'Surgical Strike' was carried out on the Pakistan border under Doval supervision.  He was subsequently extended for another five years as National Security Adviser.

He was also given the status of a Union Cabinet Minister.  The riots erupted during a protest in Delhi last February against the Citizenship Amendment Act. Instead of sending Home Minister Amit Shah to quell the riots, Modi sent Doval.  Myanmar handed over 22 militants in Assam and the northeastern states to India last May.  It was seen as a reward for diplomacy.Recently, in Ladakh border, the Chinese army attacked Indian army for which the Indian army  also retaliated.  Doval then held talks with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.  As a result, the Chinese forces retreated from the Ladakh border.  India's domestic and foreign security missions are extremely challenging.  But, Doval handled them very efficiently.
AWARD AT A YOUNG AGE

Doval became a police medalist at a very young age for his outstanding work.  He received the medal after six years of service in the police force.  He was also presented with the President's Police Medal.  It was decided to present this award to the police personnel who had accompished heroic deeds. It is noteworthy that Doval is the first police officer to receive the Keerthi Chakra award.
